About this artwork

Two dark butterflies spread their patterned wings around a slender flowering stem. Cream and orange markings stand out against the brown wings, while small golden flowers echo the warm details of the insects.

The pale plate-style background carries “Lepidoptera” at the top and “Papilio Ilioneus” below. Fine outlines, restrained colour and generous space give the design the appearance of a vintage natural-history illustration.

Display it in a study or hallway beside botanical plates with similar cream backgrounds. Its small golden accents work well with warm wood, and it makes a distinct companion to the bird and mushroom studies.

Choose a poster, stretched canvas or framed print, with oak, white and black frame options. Six sizes are available; the exact inch and centimetre labels appear in the selector. Select your finish and size together to see the price. Room furnishings in the mockups are styling examples.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is this print shipped?

Your artwork is carefully packed for transit. Standard shipping is free, with estimated arrival in 2–4 business days. Delivery times may vary by destination. Tracking is provided when your order ships.

Does the frame come ready to hang?

Check the selected finish on the product page. Framed prints include hanging hardware. Use wall fixings suitable for your wall and follow the installation guidance.

Can I return this if it doesn't look right in my space?

Eligible unused items in their original packaging can be returned within 30 days. Personalised products and other exclusions apply. Return shipping is paid by the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrect. Please see our returns policy for full details.

Will the colors look exactly like the image online?

Screen brightness and colour settings can affect how artwork looks. Paper and canvas reflect light differently, so slight variations between the screen and the print are natural.

What size should I choose for my wall?

Smaller prints work well in compact spaces or gallery walls; larger prints create a focal point. Measure your wall and compare the sizes actually offered in the size guide on this product page.
