About this artwork

A bowed musician holds an ochre guitar against layers of blue in this Picasso The Old Guitarist print. The elongated head, angular shoulders and slender hands create an introspective image, while the warm instrument provides a clear contrast to the surrounding cool tones.

The supplied design is a close portrait crop of Picasso’s Blue Period composition, focusing on the upper body and guitar. It does not include the complete seated figure and lower portion of the original painting. This tighter presentation gives the face, hands and instrument greater prominence within the vertical artwork.

Place it in a listening room, study or living room where a quieter musical subject suits the space. Its blues work well with pale walls, dark wood and restrained furnishings, while the guitar introduces a warm accent. Use it alone for an intimate focal point or alongside other figurative music prints with enough space to preserve its reflective mood.

Choose a poster, stretched canvas or framed print, with oak, white and black frame options. Six size selections run from 8×12 in to 28×39 in; the exact inch and centimetre labels appear in the selector. Select your finish and size together to see the corresponding price. Room furnishings shown in the mockups are styling examples.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is this print shipped?

Your artwork is carefully packed for transit. Standard shipping is free, with estimated arrival in 2–4 business days. Delivery times may vary by destination. Tracking is provided when your order ships.

Does the frame come ready to hang?

Check the selected finish on the product page. Framed prints include hanging hardware. Use wall fixings suitable for your wall and follow the installation guidance.

Can I return this if it doesn't look right in my space?

Eligible unused items in their original packaging can be returned within 30 days. Personalised products and other exclusions apply. Return shipping is paid by the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrect. Please see our returns policy for full details.

Will the colors look exactly like the image online?

Screen brightness and colour settings can affect how artwork looks. Paper and canvas reflect light differently, so slight variations between the screen and the print are natural.

What size should I choose for my wall?

Smaller prints work well in compact spaces or gallery walls; larger prints create a focal point. Measure your wall and compare the sizes actually offered in the size guide on this product page.
