Blue flowers and fine curling leaves spread across a cream ground in this William Morris Marigold print. The repeating pattern has a tightly drawn, almost lace-like texture, while the generous cream title panel below gives the botanical detail room to settle.

The composition presents Marigold as a vertical decorative poster, with the William Morris name, pattern title and printed 1875 date beneath the image. Its restrained two-colour palette brings the detailed Arts and Crafts pattern into a format that works comfortably alongside both classic furniture and simple contemporary pieces.
