Our philosophy

We believe wall art should be chosen slowly, displayed proudly and loved for years.

Everything we make begins with that idea. A piece on your wall is something you live alongside every day — so the materials underneath it should be considered, honest and built to last.

This page is our way of showing the work that sits behind the artwork: the papers, the frames and the surfaces, explained plainly, so you can choose the format that genuinely fits your space.

Three formats, side by side

Find the right surface in a glance.

Each format has its own character. Here is how Poster, Framed and Canvas compare across the things that matter most.

Format 01Poster Print 02Framed Print 03Canvas Print
Best for Flexible, affordable display or an existing frame A finished, ready-to-hang result Warmth, texture and depth
Finish Matte, non-reflective Matte print within a clean frame Textured canvas, no glass glare
Look & feel Crisp, flat and lightweight Considered and gallery-ready Tactile, dimensional, studio-like
Delivered as Rolled print — no frame included Framed & ready to hang (Black, White or Oak) Stretched canvas, ready to hang
Why choose it A clean, minimal way to begin — frame it your way Everything arrives complete; hang it the same day A softer, more sculptural presence on the wall

A — Poster Print

The pared-back original

The most pared-back way to live with art: a single sheet, printed with care, ready for whatever frame you already love — or none at all.

  • Printed on a smooth matte paper, selected for durability and faithful colour
  • A non-reflective surface that keeps fine detail and soft tonal transitions intact
  • Lightweight and flexible — simple to frame, move or restyle
  • Delivered without a frame, rolled and protected for transit
  • Designed for long-term display when kept framed and out of direct sun

Best choice if you already own a frame, or want a considered, affordable starting point.

B — Framed Print

The finished, ready-to-hang piece

Our most complete format. The same careful print, set within a clean modern profile and prepared to hang the moment it arrives.

  • Available in three frame finishes — Black, White and Oak
  • A slim, contemporary profile that frames the work without competing with it
  • A protective front panel where the format calls for it, keeping the surface clean
  • Carefully prepared and checked before it leaves us
  • At home in living rooms, bedrooms, offices and considered gallery walls

Best choice if you want a finished piece with nothing left to do but hang it.

C — Canvas Print

Art that feels like an object

For work that feels less like a print and more like an object — a textured surface, wrapped edges and a quiet depth that catches the light softly.

  • Printed onto a textured canvas surface with a warm, tactile character
  • Wrapped over a supportive frame for a clean, finished edge
  • No glass and no glare — comfortable to view from any angle
  • More dimensional and sculptural than a flat print
  • Made to feel premium, with a calm art-studio presence

Best choice if you want warmth, texture and a gallery-like depth on the wall.

The frame standard

Three finishes, one quiet profile.

Every framed piece shares the same clean modern profile. The finish is yours to choose — and each one changes the mood of a room.

Black Finish 01

Bold and modern. The highest-contrast option — it anchors bright work and sharpens a gallery wall.

White Finish 02

Clean and bright. It steps back quietly, letting the artwork lead in light, minimal interiors.

Oak Finish 03

Warm and natural. A soft Scandinavian tone that brings calm and texture to a space.

Packaging & protection

Packed to arrive as it left us.

  • 01

    Printed or prepared to order

Each piece begins life for your wall specifically — nothing sits on a shelf waiting to be shipped.

  • 02

    Carefully packed for transit

Posters travel rolled in a protective tube; framed and canvas pieces are packed with reinforced corners and surface protection.

  • 03

    Selected to protect what matters

Packaging is chosen to guard corners, surfaces and frames through every stage of the journey to you.

  • 04

    Mindful of waste

We aim to reduce unnecessary packaging while keeping the artwork safe — a balance we keep working on.

Good to know

Questions, answered honestly.

What is the difference between a poster and a framed print?
A poster is the print on its own, delivered without a frame — lighter, flexible and ready for a frame of your choosing. A framed print is the same artwork already set into a Black, White or Oak frame and prepared to hang straight away.
Does the poster come with a frame?
No. Posters are delivered as the print only, without a frame. If you'd prefer something ready to hang, choose the Framed Print instead.
Which frame colour should I choose?
Black suits bright, high-contrast work and gallery walls. White feels clean and minimal and steps back from the art. Oak brings a warm, natural, Scandinavian tone. A simple guide: match the frame to the room's existing wood and metal tones first, then to the artwork.
Is canvas better than a poster?
Neither is better — they're simply different. Canvas gives texture, depth and no glass glare, with a studio-like feel. A poster is flatter, crisper and more flexible. Choose canvas for warmth and presence; choose a poster for a minimal, adaptable option.
How is the artwork packed?
Posters travel rolled in a protective tube. Framed and canvas pieces are packed with reinforced corners and surface protection so edges and surfaces stay safe in transit. We pack carefully while trying not to over-package.
Are the materials sustainable?
We choose materials for durability and longevity, and we try to avoid unnecessary packaging. We're still improving how we measure and communicate sustainability — so rather than make claims we can't yet stand behind, we'd prefer to share more as we're able to verify it.
